she belongs to a Samajwadi Party She is a young leader who has been elected to the Lok Sabha. She is the daughter of Tufani Saroj who has been a three-time MP and is currently an MLA from Uttar Pradesh. Today, on 8 June 2025, she got engaged to Indian cricketer Rinku Singh who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the IPL.

Priya Saroj did her schooling from Air Force School Golden Jubilee Institute which is in New Delhi. And She did her higher education in B.A (bachelor in Arts) from Delhi University. And then to pursue Bachelor of Law degree from Amity University.

Priya Saroj was elected Member of Parliament in 2024 Indian General Election from Machhlishahr Lok Sabha Constituency.During these elections, she defeated B.P Saroj by 35850 votes.
