Google has officially announced its Google Pixel 10 series, which includes two flagship models – Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Both these phones have brought a fresh option in the premium smartphone segment of 2025. From design to performance, many things have been updated. Let’s see in detail what’s new in these two devices.
Design and build quality
The design of the Pixel 10 Pro follows the traditional clean look of the Pixel series, but this time the edges are a little slimmer. The back panel comes with a matte finish, which attracts fingerprints less. The camera bar design is familiar, but the alignment and size of the sensors seem a little refined.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold is an upgrade version in the foldable category. It comes with a horizontal fold design, which makes it a direct rival to the Galaxy Z Fold series. Google has claimed to make the hinges more durable, and the crease visibility is also much less than before. It becomes compact when folded, and gives a tablet-like experience when opened.
Display
- Pixel 10 Pro: 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, QHD+ resolution, 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Brightness has now been increased to 2500 nits, which has improved outdoor visibility a lot.
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: The outside display is 6.4-inch, while when opened inside, you get an 8.1-inch main display. Both are OLED panels, with HDR10+ support.
Colours are quite punchy this time but maintain a natural tone. Scrolling is also smooth this time, and Google has also enhanced the touch response a lot.
Camera Setup

- Pixel 10 Pro:
- 50MP main sensor
- 48MP ultra-wide
- 48MP telephoto (5x optical zoom)
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold:
- Similar triple camera setup, but optimised for the foldable form factor.
Low-light photography now looks more natural. Google’s Night Sight mode has gotten faster, and video recording now supports up to 8K resolution. AI-based portrait blur and real-time HDR processing give a professional touch to the shots.
Performance and Processor
Both phones use Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, which is based on a 3nm fabrication process. Its focus is not just on raw speed, but also on AI and machine learning capabilities.
Apps open faster in daily usage, multitasking feels smooth, and gaming performance is stable.
AI-based features like live translate, enhanced voice typing, and photo editing tools now work more accurately and faster. There is also a slight improvement in battery efficiency as the Tensor G5 is more power efficient.
Battery and charging
- Pixel 10 Pro: 5100mAh battery, 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging.
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: 5000mAh battery, same charging speeds.

Software and connectivity features
Both devices come with Android 15, which includes Pixel-exclusive features. Google has promised 7 years of OS and security updates, which is a plus point for long-term users.
- 5G (mmWave + Sub-6)
- Wi-Fi 7
- Bluetooth 5.4
- Ultra-wideband (UWB) support
- Satellite messaging feature (For emergency situations)
Price and Availability
Both Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold will come in multiple colour options – Black, White, and a new “Sage Green” shade. Pricing is quite expected in the flagship range:
- Pixel 10 Pro: Starting around Rs 92,000
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold: Starting from around Rs 1,48,000
Conclusion
Both Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold are strong entries in the premium smartphone market. AI features, camera quality, and long-term software support are their biggest strengths. The foldable variant will be more useful for users who prefer multitasking and a large-screen experience, while the standard Pixel 10 Pro could be the best choice for photography lovers. Pricing is on the higher side, but the features offer value to a targeted audience.
